Kay Bennett from the Baptist Friendship House (BFH) in New Orleans, LA will be speaking at Refresh on Wednesday, March 23. The BFH is a transitional shelter for homeless women and children. It is also a community center which ministers to the needs of individuals living in and around the French Quarter.
We will be collecting the following items that will meet some of their biggest needs.
Snack pack items
Gift cards (Walmart and Lowes)
Disposable plates and cups
Paper towels
Pre-sweetened drink mixes
Deoderant
Small toothpaste
You can drop these items off in a box labeled BFH in the Choir Room beginning now until March 23.
