    Women on Mission is the adult women’s group of WMU (Woman’s Missionary Union.) Women on Mission offers women ages 18 and up an opportunity for ongoing missions education and involvement through a group that focuses on Bible study, prayer, ministry, and or general missions. This is an opportunity for us to hear about and pray for our North American and International missionaries as well as those missionaries sponsored by our church. Group gathering plans include hands-on ministry and witnessing activity ideas. We may also have special missionary guests throughout the year.


    Women on Mission will meet for lunch the last Sunday of every month following the worship service in the Fellowship Hall.  Please bring a salad lunch - enough to share. The meetings will end by 1:45.

    When:  Saturday, January 15, 2011 - 7am to 8pm
    Where: Baptist Friendship House, New Orleans, LA
    Cost:    Money for dinner on way back home

    Participate in a ministry project at the Baptist Friendship House (BFH) in New Orleans. The BFH is a transitional shelter for homeless women and children. It is also a community center which ministers to the needs of individuals living in and around the French Quarter. We will be doing a variety of things that day, so be flexible. We are preparing a lunch meal.

    We will leave the church at 7:00 am and will return around 8:00 pm that evening. We will stop for dinner on the way home. Space is limited, so you must sign up. There is no cost for the trip, but we will provide the food for lunch.
